An Uber-style, multi-tenant marketplace for renting heavy equipment across a Renter app and a Supplier app.
Context
Equipment rental in the region runs on phone calls and personal contacts — slow, opaque, and hard to scale.
The problem
Match a renter's request to available nearby suppliers instantly, and lock a booking before the opportunity goes cold.
What we built
A rental request is broadcast to nearby suppliers simultaneously with a countdown timer; the first to accept locks the booking and the rest auto-cancel. Price estimation (base + operator + delivery + platform fee), a job lifecycle from accepted to completed, and supplier ranking by response time. Spring Boot backend with WebSocket real-time and Firebase Cloud Messaging push.
Outcome
Sub-minute matching, transparent pricing, and a supplier reputation model that rewards fast, reliable operators.
